Molybdenum Lanthanum Alloy Rod is a high-strength alloy rod made of molybdenum as the matrix and doped with 0.4–1.2% lanthanum oxide. It is mainly used in high-temperature electrodes, aerospace components, high-temperature furnaces and vacuum equipment, and other applications that require high temperature and high stress.

Stable High-Temperature Mechanical Properties

The uniformly strengthened Mo lattice of La₂O₃ ensures the rod maintains a tensile strength of 650 MPa at room temperature and retains 220 MPa and 20% elongation at 1000℃, exhibiting both high-temperature load-bearing capacity and toughness.

 

Oxidation Resistance and High-Temperature Conductivity

The surface Lanthanum oxide forms a protective layer, inhibiting oxidation at 1700–2000℃, while simultaneously increasing the resistivity from 0.054 Ω·mm²/m (20℃) to 0.571 Ω·mm²/m (2000℃), ensuring stable conductivity in high-temperature electrodes and components.

 

High purity and adaptability to precision machining

Extremely low impurity content (Al, Ca, Fe, Mg, Ni, Si, C, N ≤0.003%), diameter tolerance of 0.5–80 mm ±0.03–2 mm, surface Ra ≤0.8–3.2 μm, ensuring machining accuracy and mechanical stability.
