Introduction

Molybdenum Rhenium Alloy is a high-temperature alloy composed of molybdenum and rhenium, used in aerospace, high-temperature electronic devices, and high-temperature industrial equipment as support components, heating elements, or high-temperature resistant coating materials.

High-Temperature Load Bearing and Creep Control

In Molybdenum Rhenium Alloy, Re atoms enter the molybdenum lattice to form a solid solution, increasing dislocation resistance and slowing lattice atom diffusion, resulting in minimal shape and dimensional changes under long-term thermal loads. This alloy achieves tensile strengths of 1310–2100 MPa at 0–2300°C.

Thermal Cycling Crack Resistance and High-Temperature Conductivity

Rapid temperature rise and fall or frequent thermal cycling can lead to crack propagation or deterioration of electrical properties. Re increases crystal toughness and inhibits microcrack propagation while maintaining a resistivity of 29 µΩ·cm, enabling the material to withstand mechanical loads and maintain current conductivity in high-temperature electronic components.
